The MOZA AB9 FFB Base is a high-performance force feedback base for flight simulation with 12 Nm peak torque and 9 Nm continuous torque via dual servo motors. With MOZA's proprietary MCLS Force Feedback technology and ±20° range of motion, everything from taxiing and takeoff to turbulence and complex maneuvers is simulated with exceptional precision and realism.
The construction in aviation-grade aluminum alloy with automotive-grade paint provides mechanical and thermal stability in a minimalist and robust casing. The fanless design minimizes operating noise and protects against dust for a long lifespan. Each unit has undergone over one million test cycles.
The high-resolution encoder and segmented winding design of the servo motor deliver ultra-smooth operation with extremely low cogging torque. The MOZA Cockpit software provides full control over centering force, damping, friction, and force feedback intensity with shareable presets.
The AB9 supports third-party flight sticks via compatible adapters and can be mounted via a desk clamp or directly onto a rig. Compatible with MSFS2024, MSFS2020, X-Plane 12/11/10, DCS, IL-2, War Thunder and more.
Dual use — also an active shifter for sim racing
With the optional MOZA Active Shifter Knob (sold separately), the AB9 can be transformed into an active shifter for sim racing — supporting H-pattern, sequential shifting, and handbrake. Thanks to the 9 Nm servo motors, you get clear and powerful resistance with sharp, adjustable "clicks" — sharper and more distinct than the entry-level AB6 model. Haptic feedback simulates engine vibrations and resistance during missed shifts. Everything is set up via MOZA Pit House. Switch between flight stick and shifter knob in seconds — one device for both flight and racing.
